Cooktown is located via the longest route
approximately 330 kilometres north of Cairns in tropical far North
Queensland. If you are visiting Cape York Peninsula then a stay in
Cooktown is a must. We are within walking distance of all local
attractions whilst being nestled in the shadow of Mt Cook so we are more
in the rainforest than the mangroves and sandflies nearer the river.
You have the
opportunity to travel here via the rainforests of the Daintree National
Park or the open spaces of the remote outback Cape York Peninsula.
